American Hypocrisy and Complicity

American political language does not have the capacity to address Palestine because it is disabled by white supremacy.

By Mariam Barghouti

Over the past few weeks, as the Israeli colonial forces escalated their brutal violence against the Palestinians of occupied Jerusalem, many hoped for some kind of a sharp reaction from the new Biden administration. But that did not come. Instead, we once again heard about how “deeply concerned” the US State Department is about “unilateral steps that exacerbate tensions” and that both Israeli and Palestinian officials need “to act decisively to de-escalate tensions”.

Some Palestinians also expected more from the “progressive” members of the US legislature. But they too dressed their words in euphemisms. Representative André Carson tweeted that he is “extremely dismayed by Israel’s efforts to forcefully evict Palestinians from their homes”. Representative Marie Newman called on the State Department to “immediately condemn these violations of international law”. Representative Mark Pocan co-authored a letter with others, expressing “deep concern about Israel’s imminent plan to forcibly displace nearly 2,000 Palestinians”.

And for her part, Representative Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez called the Israeli army’s actions “inhumane” and said “the US must show more leadership in safeguarding Palestinian rights”. Just a month ago, in an interview with Rabbi Michael Miller, head of the Jewish Community Relations Council of New York, the “progressive” congresswoman also talked about “valuing a process where all parties are respected” and building “a path to peace”.

Conspicuously absent from all these statements are words that objectively assess the situation in Palestine, such as “occupation”, “apartheid”, “settler-colonialism”, and “ethnic cleansing”. (Source: Al Jazeera)

The Psychology of Fact-Checking

Distortions and outright lies by politicians and pundits have become so common that major news outlets like the Associated Press, CNN, BBC, Fox News, and Washington Post routinely assign journalists and fact-checkers to verify claims made during stump speeches and press briefings. The motivation to uncover falsehoods and misleading statements taken out of context is laudable. But when it comes to real-world complexities, the trouble is that people often see different things when looking at the same event, a phenomenon repeatedly documented by psychologists.

Laboratory studies reveal that, when shown a video of a group of protesters, people see either a peaceful protest or an unruly mob blocking pedestrian access, depending on their sociopolitical beliefs. The world outside the lab shows similar biased perception: For example, 68 percent of Republicans consider the videotaped demonstrations in Portland, Ore., Kenosha, Wisc., and New York City to be riots, versus only 30 percent of Democrats, according to a Fox News poll released in September. Journalists and fact-checkers are human beings subject to the same psychological biases as everyone else—and their analyses of what constitute “facts” is affected by their own political and ideological values, resulting in what psychologists term selective perception. Sometimes Justice Prevails

The jury in the murder trial of Derek Chauvin found the former Minneapolis police officer guilty on Tuesday in the killing of George Floyd, a Black man, in a decision US President Joe Biden said he hoped would become a “moment of significant change”.

The 45-year-old Chauvin, who was filmed on May 25 last year with his knee on Floyd’s neck for nine minutes and 29 seconds, was found guilty on all three counts: second-degree murder, third-degree murder and second-degree manslaughter. (Source: Al Jazeera)

Afghanistan – Another Lost War

After what was supposed to be a snap military operation to capture Usama bin Laden in 2001, the war in Afghanistan has turned out to be the longest in American history. Finally, after 20 years of occupation and fighting, President Joe Biden has acknowledged the defeat and announced the withdrawal of all U.S. troops by September 11, 2021. Costs of war: more than $2 trillion spent and about 240,000 lives lost.

Laptop from Hell: Hunter Biden, Big Tech, and the Dirty Secrets the President Tried to Hide

The inside story of the laptop that exposed the president’s dirtiest secret

Book review by Tucker Carlson:

When a drug-addled Hunter Biden abandoned his waterlogged computer at a Mac repair shop in Delaware in the spring of 2019, just six days before his father announced his candidacy for the United States presidency, it became the ticking time bomb in the shadows of Joe Biden’s campaign.

The dirty secrets contained in Hunter’s laptop almost derailed his father’s presidential campaign and ignited one of the greatest media coverups in American history.

This is the unvarnished story of what’s really inside the laptop and what China knows about the Bidens, by the New York Post journalist who brought it into the open.

It exposes the coordinated censorship operation by Big Tech, the media establishment, and former intelligence operatives to stifle the New York Post’s coverage, in a chilling exercise of raw political power three weeks before the 2020 election.

A treasure trove of corporate documents, emails, text messages, photographs, and voice recordings, spanning a decade, the laptop provided the first evidence that President Joe Biden was involved in his son’s ventures in China, Ukraine, and beyond, despite his repeated denials.

This intimate insight into Hunter’s dissolute lifestyle shows he was incapable of holding down a job, let alone being paid tens of millions of dollars in high-powered international business deals by foreign interests, unless he had something else of value to sell—which of course he did. He was the son of the vice president who would go on to become the leader of the free world.

The book will be available from Amazon on September 7, 2021.

They Want You in Masks Forever

The World Economic Forum is at it again. The globalist titans behind ‘the Great Reset’ are now promoting a “smart face mask” that tracks every breath its wearer takes. The masks received a frosty reception online.

As the Western world inches slowly but surely toward full vaccination against Covid-19, much of the public is likely looking forward to kissing face masks and social distancing goodbye. Not the elites at the World Economic Forum, it seems. The Davos crew posted a tweet on Wednesday promoting “the mask of the future,” a high-tech face covering designed by Chinese-owned health data firm CirQ Technologies.

The mask reminds users when to wash it and checks if they’re wearing it properly. If too much carbon dioxide builds up inside, a phone alert reminds the wearer to catch a few breaths of fresh air. If the user forgets to put the mask on, the same phone app sends them a reminder to mask up. As three quarters of single-use masks end up in landfills or oceans, the WEF also touts the environmental benefits of the reusable face covering. (Source: RT International)

Say NO to Mandatory COVID-19 Jabs!

Biopolitical Surveillance: COVID-status certification is likely to become a feature of our lives long after the threat from the pandemic has receded. Forcing citizens to carry digital certificates showing that they’ve had the jab – and barring them from events and buildings if they haven’t – is a dangerous step that will create a two-tier society. In reality, governments have an unhappy tendency to turn emergency rules and regulations, created for one situation, into permanent restrictions and snooping on our lives. Say Goodbye to Africa’s Giants

Following population declines over several decades due to poaching for ivory and loss of habitat, the African forest elephant (Loxodonta cyclotis) is now listed as Critically Endangered and the African savanna elephant (Loxodonta africana) as Endangered on the IUCN Red List of Threatened Species™.

Ivory may appear beautiful when used in jewelry, carvings, or instruments, but the deadly truth behind it is the complete opposite of beautiful. It’s made from the tusks of animals, usually elephants and about 20,000 elephants are killed every year for their tusks. The World Wildlife Foundation (WWF) explains that elephants use their tusks for digging, lifting objects, gathering food, defense, and more. It also protects their trunk which they use for drinking, breathing, eating and more. Basically, elephants need their tusks, we don’t.

The ivory trade is illegal, but as is the case when something is rare and forbidden, poachers only seek it even more. That’s why it’s necessary to have certain protections in place to protect elephants from being openly and legally hunted, at which rate they could go extinct in about 20 years. That’s why the ivory trade is governed by the Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species of Fauna and Flora (CITES), which protects endangered animals. (OneGreenPlanet)

American DEBUNKS All Major Western Propaganda on Uyghurs and Xinjiang!

We have done it… We have broken down each bit of major Western propaganda on the Uyghur and Xinjiang situation in order to debunk the lies and reveal the truth. For over an hour, Bay takes on a series of propaganda ranging from Adrian Zenz to inconsistent witness testimony to debunking sterilization claims and all major propaganda promoted surrounding this incredibly manufactured issue.

The Uyghur Genocide? Uyghur Detention Camps?

An ‘Independent’ Report About China’s Alleged Uyghur Genocide

U.S. media hailed a Newlines Institute report accusing China of Uyghur genocide as a “landmark” independent analysis. A look beneath the surface reveals it as a regime change propaganda tool by interventionist operatives at a sham university.

Throughout March 2021, headlines in corporate media outlets from CNN to The Guardian blared about the release of the “first independent report” to authoritatively determine that the Chinese government has violated “each and every act” of the United Nations convention against genocide, and therefore “bears State responsibility for committing genocide against the Uyghurs.”

The report, published on March 8 by the Newlines Institute for Strategy and Policy, in collaboration with the Raoul Wallenberg Centre for Human Rights, follows a last-minute accusation made in January by the outgoing Trump administration, along with similar declarations by the Dutch and Canadian Parliaments. It was published shortly after the release of a remarkably similar report on February 8 that was commissioned by the U.S. government-backed World Uyghur Congress, and which alleged that there is a “credible case” against the Chinese government for genocide.

Uyghur Detention Camps?

The escalating trade war against China, threats of sanctions over allegations of Uyghur detention camps in Xinjiang, threats of sanctions if China buys Russian defence equipment, all are aimed at disruption of the sole emerging threat to a Washington global order. How China’s authorities are trying to deal with this full assault is illustrated by events in Xinjiang.

America and its allies, under the guise of the War on Terror and humanitarian intervention, have droned, bombed and killed millions of Muslim children. women and civilians in a dozen of countries from Afghanistan to Yemen, and displaced millions more.

The West engaged in a full-scale irregular war to destabilize China. The U.S. created the Uyghur problem in Xinjiang by sponsoring terrorists there. The same tactics it used in Cuba, Venezuela, Vietnam, Iraq, Afghanistan, Syria and Libya.

Groups like the World Uyghur Congress have offices in Washington D.C. and funded by the U.S. State Department via the National Endowment for Democracy (NED). The NED’s website admits to meddling and breaks down its targeting of China into several regions including mainland, Hong Kong, Tibet, and Xinjiang/East Turkestan (“East Turkestan” is what Uyghur militants and separatists call Xinjiang).
